Laundry Room Build
This basement room was previously being used for random storage while the home's laundry area was not in a dedicated space. The project was a complete build from scratch and turned into a beautiful and highly functional laundry room with significant counter space. The extent of the work included wastewater plumbing, new hot/cold water lines, electrical outlets, switches & lighting, extension of existing gas line, plumbing vents, shiplap walls, epoxy flooring and hardwood custom countertops.

Basement Bathroom
Another poorly used basement space was carved out to add a half bathroom. Similar project in scope as the laundry room above, waste, water supply, electrical needs existed. Sinks and toilet discharge in a macerating pump, which reaches the homes waste line.

Composite Decking Rebuild
A 10-year-old pressure treated deck didn't survive the summer sun very well even with preventive maintenance (stains). The deck was stripped fully down to the joist framing and rebuilt with composite decking and PVC railings/spindles. Making better use of the space under the deck we enclosed the support columns with Azek composite boards including a double swing gate for easy access of storage.

Paver Patio Repair/Joints
Polymeric paver joint sand was used to tighten up this beautiful paver patio space.

Garage Stucco Refinishing
An old cement block detached garage had been improperly painted with latex paint many years ago. Needless to say, the paint did not weather well and excessively peeled. The latex paint was pressure washed to remove all lose material and a proper roll-flex stucco product was applied.

Bluestone Walkway Repair
Bluestone flagging is absolutely gorgeous, natural stone for purposes of walkways, patios, landings and many more applications.
Bluestone is durable and an excellent choice for high traffic areas, however, repairs are occasionally needed.
Several pieces were replaced and new cement joints were repaired as well.

Outdoor Pizza Oven Install
Installation of a prefabricated pizza oven requiring a stable paver base to support this nearly 700 lb. monster.

Epoxy Coated Flooring
The epoxy coated flooring is an excellent choice for concrete floors in basements and garages as it is super easy to maintain, clean and for when the unexpected rain waters happen to occur, floor damage is typically not a concern.
* The epoxy itself comes in a variety of colors - light gray happens to be what was used in this application. The decorative flecks come in a variety of colors as well.

Slop Sink Install
A more elegant approach to a basement slop sink than those plastic pre-fab tub units that sit on unstable legs (assuming you can add a sink cabinet)

Storage Space Improvements
This basement utility room was vastly underutilized. A partition wall was built to gain wall space for pantry items and home cleaning supplies. 3/4" furniture grade plywood with decorative trim molding finishes the edges and looks significantly better than big box store particle board shelves.
Rubber tile gym flooring is a great alternative to finishing old concrete basement floors - especially those prone to dampness/moisture. They pull up easily to wash and dry out.

Toilet Removal/Inspection
An interesting day when we were asked to remove a master bathroom toilet in search of a wedding band. There are rarely uninteresting days.

Hobbies
When you've been working with wood and building gifts since high school, you may just be "nudged" by the wife to craft family holiday gifts ;) These cutting boards were a huge success and surprisingly the recipients refuse to use them as they were intended. They're serving as kitchen show pieces, which is quite an honor for the craftsman.

Drywall Repairs
There seems to be a drywall repair in nearly every home we have projects to complete. We're happy to patch any holes, dents or dings you may have, and we're positioned to tape small jobs.

Security Light Replacement
Small electrical projects are common projects we take on as well. LCD security lights with motion sensors are helpful for finding the keys coming home in the evening. Make life even easier adding digital keypad locks to avoid the need for traditional keys. We can upgrade this and install smart locks allowing the use of your home wifi and cell phones. Security cameras e.g. Ring are popular items we install as well.
